About Laura

Laura Muensterer is an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (#16475) with a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. She has worked with people from all walks of life and specializes in supporting both teens and adults through challenging and transitional seasons. Her background includes individual therapy, inpatient mental health care, and nonprofit work. She supports those dealing with anxiety, depression, self-worth concerns, relationship and family struggles, career shifts, job-related stress, and other major life transitions. Her approach is trauma-informed and rooted in a deep understanding of the human experience.

She focuses on real healing rather than surface-level change. In your work together, she will guide you in exploring your thoughts, patterns, and past experiences to help you better understand where you’ve been and where you want to go. Sometimes that means unpacking old wounds. Sometimes it means creating new habits or shifting perspectives. Either way, the process moves at a pace that feels safe and sustainable. You don’t need to have it all figured out to begin.

In sessions, you can expect to feel supported, understood, and never judged. She will help you build tools to regulate your emotions, communicate more effectively, set healthy boundaries, and reconnect with parts of yourself that may have been lost or overlooked. You’ll work together to clarify your goals, challenge limiting beliefs, and create momentum toward a more meaningful and aligned life. Her hope is that you leave each session feeling grounded, empowered, and more connected to your sense of self.
