Lily Mojdehi, AMFT
Lily Mojdehi (she/her) is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who earned her Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from San Diego State University in 2024. Lily is the proud daughter of Iranian immigrants. Her queer, Iranian American identity shapes her therapeutic work, allowing her to connect with clients by exploring the intersections of culture, identity, and personal experience. Lily’s practice reflects the values she grew up with—hospitality, warmth, respect, and the tradition of sharing tea—cultivating a space where clients feel welcomed and supported.
Lily has experience working with immigrant and refugee families, particularly those impacted by domestic violence. These experiences deepened her commitment to social justice-oriented care, inspiring her to adapt therapeutic approaches based on each client’s unique needs. Her practice reflects a collaborative spirit, drawing on Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Mindfulness practices while remaining open to new learning opportunities and modalities based on each client.
Lily is open to working with individuals, couples, and families of all ages, backgrounds, and stories. If you are interested in learning more about Lily’s approach or seeing if she might be the right fit for you, please reach out.
We look forward to hearing from you.
